Ben Fisher has been appointed to lead Pollen – the strategic medical education and scientific engagement agency from the Hive Group.
“Pollen is built on a belief in scientific storytelling.” said Ben, “It is the promise of connecting the science to the real lives of our target audience. It is an alternative, exciting approach and I’m delighted to join the team.”
Ben joins Pollen after four years at Ogilvy Healthworld.
Pollen was established in 2011 as part of the Hive Group and has partnered a diverse mix of healthcare companies to deliver highly targeted and strategic communication campaigns.
Pollen believes that clinical data alone does not drive change. Instead, the focus should be on applying the principles of storytelling that enable accurate scientific exchange aligned with an understanding of the implications for an individual’s everyday world.
“Pollen is unique – and requires a uniquely diverse group of talent to connect science with the real world” said Jas Hummel, founding Director of the Hive Group. “We believe Ben is the right person to lead Pollen and bring it to a greater number of clients.”
