Renata: Last year we decided not to award a Grand Prix. ( I was part of the Pharma Jury  2018). The intention was to push the category to even higher standards. I believe that this year has important contenders, projects that have the right combination of data, high-end technology, and emotional appeal,  such as the See Sound, for Wavio or Ad Council’s Know the Truth Campaign.

Tim Hawkey, Chief Creative Officer of Area23 (An FCB Health Network Agency) predicted the following campaigns:

Project name: Icons for Medicine

Category: Pharma

Prediction: GOLD

This is one of the most exciting applications of AR in the health space that I have seen. Because it solves the real problem of consumers never reading the product insert for their prescription medicine. Imagine being able to point your phone at your prescription and having the label transform into all the information you really need.

Very excited about the role of branded content in health. Here we have an amazing health innovation (a nail polish that can detect if there is a date rape drug in your drink), but they went beyond the innovation to creative a music video with a top recording artist.
