2015 IPA Best of Health Show shortlist revealed

Thirty-four agencies have been shortlisted for this year’s Best of Health Show which rewards the best creative work in healthcare advertising. The Awards, now in their 20th year, remain true to their guiding principle and are unique in being the only programme where work from around the world is judged by leading UK practitioners.

Says James Sexton, Chairman of Judges, Creative Director, OgilvyOne, “There were plenty of creative highlights for me in this 20th year of the Awards. Creative engagement was particularly strong in the Consumer category, with interactivity and social media being used to full effect, making the campaigns work harder.

“The new Pip Award, designed to showcase young talent in the industry also didn’t disappoint. They had a fantastic spec brief to work on about the dangers of ‘legal highs’. The standard of entries into this new category was very good with lots of powerful concepts on the table. The winner was so clever it deserves to run for real. Now that would be a result.”

Says Frank Walters, Convenor of Judges, Executive Creative Director and Chairman, The Frontera Group, “As an original founder of the Awards 20 years ago, it is incredible to see the continual rise in the creative calibre of entries. And this year was no different. Competition was fierce and created much debate among the strong senior creative judging team. To be shortlisted alone is no mean feat, and I wish all those the very best of luck for what is set to be a fantastic awards night in November.”

The winners will be revealed at the IPA Best of Health Show at Bloomsbury Ballroom on Tuesday 24thNovember 2015.
