2023 Lions Health Predictions #1: Melissa Brunet

As Cannes Lions 2023 slowly approaches, we asked some of the industries top creative minds for their metal-winning predictions across Health & Wellness and Pharma.

First up we hear from Melissa Brunet, Executive Creative Director of IPG Health France.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS LIONS  


THE BRIDGE – Grand Prix – this is SO GOOD I can’t imagine it getting less. It’s just great storytelling coupled with beautiful craft. I also love how it tackles several health issues – depression, loneliness, suicidal thoughts, even animal cruelty… then moves toward a beautiful, simple solution that anyone can implement.


SCROLLING THERAPY – Gold – it’s a great use of technology for health, so I bet this will score high points with the jury.  


UNFORGETTABLE MOMENTS
– Bronze – I hope this gets a silver or higher, but because it’s a print campaign I’m not so sure. It’s so clever and powerful. How many print campaigns have we seen where the message we’re sending is part of the craft?  



PHARMA LIONS

UNDER A ROCK – Gold – I’m really crossing my fingers this gets a gold. This particular ad, for me, goes beyond the product. The message it sends could work for so many newer treatments and adresses a real issue in pharma. I wish I’d thought of it!
