London International Awards announces the 2019 Health & Pharma winners

FCB Health was named the Global Health & Pharma Network of the Year

Area 23, An FCB Health Network Company, New York was named the Global Pharma Agency of the Year; and North American Regional Pharma Agency of the Year.

McCann Health Brazil, São Paulo was named the Global Health Agency of the Year

LIA2019

Today, London International Awards, one of the world’s most prestigious Global award shows, announces its winners in the Health & Wellness and Pharma competitions.

Created for creatives, LIA has the highest caliber of jurors in all disciplines. Our jury rooms welcome the press, LIAisons attendees and LIA guests throughout the entire process. LIA’s Annual judging which convened over a 10-day period at Encore Las Vegas has concluded and listed below are the Statue Winners and Finalists.

The Health & Wellness jury, led by Debra Polkes, Chief Creative Officer at CDM, awarded 38 Statues  – 1 Grand LIA, 9 Gold, 12 Silver, 16 Bronze and 23 Finalists.

Bernardo Romero, Executive Creative Director, Healthcare & Wellness at Grey Group led the Health & Wellness – Craft jury as they awarded 15 Statues (1 Grand LIA, 7 Gold, 2 Silver, 5 Bronze and 5 Finalists); the same jury awarded 7 Statues in Pharmaceuticals – Craft  (1 Grand LIA, 3 Gold, 2 Silver, 1 Bronze and 6 Finalists).

The Pharmaceuticals jury under the expert leadership of  Brett O’Connor, Founder / Executive Creative Director at VCCP Health, awarded 17 Statues –  1 Gold, 8 Silver, 8 Bronze and 7 Finalists.

Of The Year Awards are awarded to the highest-ranking company and/or network based on a total calculation of points attained from all winning entries Regardless of Entering Company.

FCB Health swept the LIA Healthcare awards, clinching the Global Health & Pharma Network of the Year. FCB Inferno, London; FCB Health Brasil, São Paulo; AREA 23, an FCB Health Network Company, New York and FCB Chicago, Chicago all contributed to this remarkable accomplishment.

AMVBBDO, London was awarded the Health & Wellness Grand LIA and the Health & Wellness – Craft Grand LIA for Essity Libresse/Bodyform titled “Viva La Vulva”

The Pharmaceuticals – Craft Grand LIA was awarded to AREA 23, an FCB Health Network Company, New York for Constant Therapy titled “One Word”.

Thank you for the opportunity to be part of an alternate craft jury this year. As a music company owner, I am typically judging (including past LIAs) on a music and sound design jury. This year was a real learning experience for me and I am grateful that LIA gave me the opportunity to try something new.
